Veronica T. Atienza and Mikaela Lauryn D. Santos, who are included in Philippine Ballet Theatre's roster beginning this 30th season, participated in the 2016 World Ballet Competition. The competition was held last June 13 to 18, at Orlando, Florida, USA.
Veronica placed 4th in the Pre-professional category with an average score of 8.179 after three rounds, while Mikaela placed 15th with a score of 7.917.
